Running a class from your phone

On iPhone

An app that does the three things you do standing in the room.

Free on the App Store

Search the App Store for Pulse Deck TV, or tap the button on your iPhone. Free, and needs iOS 16 or later.

You can still run a class from pulsedeck.tv in Safari — but casting to the TV only works from the app, because no iOS browser can talk to a Chromecast.

On Android, or any other phone

No app to install from a store — add the dashboard to your home screen.

Open pulsedeck.tv/dashboard in Chrome
Sign in with the Google or Apple account you use for your gym.
Tap the ⋮ menu → Install app
Or "Add to Home screen". Chrome may offer it by itself.
Open it from your home screen
It runs full-screen with its own icon, like any other app.

It works just like the iPhone app — start a class, cast to your TV, share your gym code.

Running a class

Tap Start class
Athletes appear on the board as they start an activity on their watch.
Cast to your TV
Pick your Chromecast. The board takes over the screen and stays up for the whole class.
Read out your gym code
Anyone new enters it with their name in Garmin Connect, once. After that they just turn up. Garmin setup →
Tap End class
Everyone's summary is saved, and can be emailed out automatically.
